Leftovers Part 2
After 12 days, here is the assortment of leftover extra pieces that I have acquired. I wonder what they will combine to form at the end of all of this? Extra hat, hair, crown, discs, wheels, arm, and more!! EXCITING!
They Looked Up and Saw Guest Stars, Shining in the East Beyond Them Far
So, you viewers may have noticed something about over these last 12 days - something that has been sneaking into photos (aside from the jealous teapot).
Let's analyze some key photos over the last 12 days.
Yes it is true - there is yet ANOTHER advent calendar in my house. A traditional chocolate one for my wife!
As a special treat now that we are halfway, let's take a little peek into the OTHER side of advent calendars - the traditional confectionary side!
Lo and behold! The guest star takes posession of her calendar!
Hmmm - what day to open??
Ooo - a little chocolate goodie lurks inside!
No building required - just unwrapping!
Then, when the wrapper is removed, it is doubled as a gift to the kitty!
"Is... is this for me?"
"SO FUN!!!"

Leftovers Part 1
One of the things I love about LEGO is that generally, they tend to pack in a couple of extra pieces here and there into their sets. They are usually small little pieces that might often get lost. Or they are small unique pieces that are otherwise uncommon.
Between the two sets, I have accumulated... this many pieces after three days. I have GREAT plans for these excess pieces! Oh yes, just you wait and see!

Introduction to Blog
Hello, welcome to my LEGO Advent Calendar Blog.
In years gone by, I have received many chocolate advent calendars - each day opening up a new delicious treat! But this year I have been blessed with an even better type of treat each day - LEGO!
Yes, this year my wonderful aunt brought me an advent calendar filled with LEGO. I am a very big LEGO fan.* Each day, a new door is opened, and out pops a different LEGO set.
Further, unbeknownst to my aunt, my wife had ordered me another LEGO advent calendar!
So now I am blessed with two LEGO calendars - each with a different theme - one modern day City themed from my aunt, and one medieval themed from my wife!
Each day I will take photos of my calendars and the new treats that are found inside! Hurray!
Gramblor
*By this, I do not mean that I am a fan of very big pieces of LEGO, nor do I mean that I am a in fact a giant wind blowing apparatus (fan) made out of LEGO, nor am I a giant human that is a fan of LEGO. I mean that I really, really, really like LEGO, and have a very large collection of it.
