KINGDOMS Day 12 - Pork, the LEGO sows all sing! Apples for the newborn pigs.

And what lies in the windows of the tower where the 12 lies?

A pig and an apple!

Look at all of those pieces to buil... wait a minute, what is this, a Kinder Surprise toy!?  Where is the building?

Wow, what a difficult build.

And so, the pig joins the rest of the KINGDOMS Advent Calendar high above, making way for the next dozen days!

CITY Day 12 - What Did You Ax Santa for this Christmas?

Now approaching the halfway mark for LEGO CITY Advent Calendar.

Ah, a hatchet for chopping wood for the fireplace!  And a nice little sled for carrying the wood, too!

Not a sled yet!

There we go!

Time to chop that big piece in two - go, dad, go!

Hurray - successful choppin'!

Time to bring the fire home for the hearth.

Now that we are halfway - we shall line up those sets already completed atop the calendar, and make way for the second half of prizes!

Leftovers Part 2

After 12 days, here is the assortment of leftover extra pieces that I have acquired.  I wonder what they will combine to form at the end of all of this?  Extra hat, hair, crown, discs, wheels, arm, and more!!  EXCITING!

They Looked Up and Saw Guest Stars, Shining in the East Beyond Them Far

So, you viewers may have noticed something about over these last 12 days - something that has been sneaking into photos (aside from the jealous teapot).

Let's analyze some key photos over the last 12 days.

Yes it is true - there is yet ANOTHER advent calendar in my house.  A traditional chocolate one for my wife!

As a special treat now that we are halfway, let's take a little peek into the OTHER side of advent calendars - the traditional confectionary side!

Lo and behold!  The guest star takes posession of her calendar!

Hmmm - what day to open??

Ooo - a little chocolate goodie lurks inside!

No building required - just unwrapping!

Then, when the wrapper is removed, it is doubled as a gift to the kitty!

"Is... is this for me?"

"SO FUN!!!"
