KINGDOMS Day 1 - On the Forge day of Christ-smith

Am I blogging with a lisp?  Or am I just a really good pun-master?  Wait and see!
Here's the first door for the Kingdoms calendar, and we have...
...a LEGO Blacksmith!

Here you can now see the whole Kingdoms display, with the little blacksmith off to the side. See how it is set up like a whole village? AMAZING!

CITY Day 1 - He said he'd be block again some day...

I have opened up the LEGO City advent calendar - looks so fun! Check out all of those neat doors!

Here is door number 1! I feel like I'm on "Let's Make A Deal!" I wonder what is inside...
It's Frosty the snowman! Complete with top hat, carrot nose, and broom!  As this was day 1, I was so excited to open my LEGO, I forgot to take pictures of the package and the pieces before I built them... I will try to be more diligent with my photos next time!

And so here he is, the first to be set out in the middle of the display.  He's so lonely, I hope he gets a good friend tomorrow!

Introduction to Blog

Hello, welcome to my LEGO Advent Calendar Blog.

In years gone by, I have received many chocolate advent calendars - each day opening up a new delicious treat!  But this year I have been blessed with an even better type of treat each day - LEGO!

Yes, this year my wonderful aunt brought me an advent calendar filled with LEGO.  I am a very big LEGO fan.* Each day, a new door is opened, and out pops a different LEGO set.

Further, unbeknownst to my aunt, my wife had ordered me another LEGO advent calendar!

So now I am blessed with two LEGO calendars - each with a different theme - one modern day City themed from my aunt, and one medieval themed from my wife!

LEGO City Themed Calendar!
LEGO Kingdoms Themed Calendar

Each day I will take photos of my calendars and the new treats that are found inside! Hurray!

*By this, I do not mean that I am a fan of very big pieces of LEGO, nor do I mean that I am a in fact a giant wind blowing apparatus (fan) made out of LEGO, nor am I a giant human that is a fan of LEGO.  I mean that I really, really, really like LEGO, and have a very large collection of it.
